This week there wasn't too much exciting on sale. But here's how my trip went.
CVS:
1 Softscrub total cleaner- I had a raincheck from a few weeks ago when it was on sale for $1.99. I had a $1.50/1 coupon. (So you wouldn't be able to do the softscrub deal unless you had the raincheck.)
2 Advil travel size packs- $.99 each
2 Baby Ruth Candy Bars- 2/$1.00
Use:
$1.50/1 Softscrub Total printable coupon
$.50/2 Nestle Candy Bars
$2 off any pain reliever purchase (this printed out at the CVS coupon machine- be sure to always scan your CVS card each time you go.)
Total before coupons: $4.97
After coupons: $ .97
Plus I received $1 ECB (Extra Care Buck) for using my CVS green bag tag. So I have $1 to spend next time I go.
Rite Aid:
2 Purex detergents- $1.97 each (reg. 5.99 each)
2 Oral B toothbrushes- $2.99 each(reg. $5.79 each) , receive $2 +Up reward (limit 2)- basically like CVS ECB
Use:
$1.50/1 Oral B toothbrush from PG 5/1 (Proctor & Gamble Insert in newspaper from May 1)
$1/1 Oral B toothbrush from coupon book P&G sent me
(2) $1.00/1 Purex from RP insert (Redplum)- not sure of date.
Pre-sale total: $23.56
Sale before coupons: $9.92
After Coupon total: $5.42
Receive: $4 +Up rewards for next time.
It's basically like getting it for $1.42.
I also had some +Up rewards from last time so I used $4 worth of them and only paid $1.42 out of pocket and received $4 +Up reward for next time. So for me a profit of $2.58.
There is a diaper deal too this week. I will have to go back later b/c I have some up rewards that will expire Saturday. I'll let you know what I find.
